Technical Consultant
I have been a tinkerer and technician my whole life. From music studios, home theaters, business/home networking, website development, point of sale systems, radios upon radios, information and network security, to hardware troubleshooting and OS provisioning, my technical experience covers a very broad swath of systems and scenarios.
Hourly rates are $60-240 per hour, remote or in person (2 hour minimum).
Long term contracts available starting at $100,000 for a six month minimum.

I can provide IT staff assessments for small businesses and non-profits. If you have one IT person for your whole org, we need to talk.
I can determine the specialist/generalist combination and number of staff you'll need to help keep your information systems secure and your IT staff used most efficiently. Technical recruiters often don't understand the knowledge needed in the positions they are trying to fill. I can help you find the best person for that job.
I can also provide threat modeling for individuals. If you feel you are being targeted or could be, I can help you plan your digital defenses to reduce your threat surface. All solutions are tailored to the individual's risk vs convenience and comfort.
